What is the Portfolio?

The Portfolio is an area where teachers can put photos or observations that they would like to either share with parents, or pull into a conference report later on. I like to think of it as the paper file I used to keep samples of children's work in for a booklet I would make them when they left my class. Photos and observations can be added to the Portfolio by clicking on the [...] and selecting [Add to Portfolio]. A red bookmark will appear on the post so that you know it has been added to the Portfolio. You can always remove items from the Portfolio through the same process.

You can create a conference report template that uses the Portfolio widgets to pull photos or observations (or both) from the Portfolio into an existing report, or you can create a report that only has the information from the Portfolio. Then you can print the report from the Children page.
