What happens when you click "Accept" or "reject" on a form?
Clicking "Approve" or "Reject" on a form changes the state of the form and whether a parent can edit it. If you click "Approve", the form goes to the child's Forms page and is no longer editable by the parent. If you "Reject" it, the parents can edit it again. It can still be found on the child's Forms page, but it's labeled as "Requested" rather than "Approved".
