Creating Virtual Classrooms

If you have children in multiple classrooms, and you need to be able to designate which classroom is used when you generate a Conference Report, you can now use our "Virtual Classroom" feature.

• When children are in multiple classrooms, Transparent Classroom doesn't know which classroom to use to pull information onto the Conference Report.
• While it is not currently possible to designate a default classroom, you can designate your Band,  Aftercare, or other classrooms as virtual classrooms.
• Virtual classroom's data are not available to be pulled onto Conference Reports, so the system will automatically choose the non-virtual classroom. 

To update the type of classroom your Band classroom is, you can create a new virtual level in your school's classroom settings. To do this, go to [Admin] > [School Settings] > [Classrooms] > [Classroom Types] > [Add] > select "Virtual" and the age range > [Save].

Once you have created the new level you can change your Band classroom's type by going to [Admin] > [School Settings] > [Classrooms] > clicking [Edit] next to your classroom > select the new type > [Save].
