Assigning Children to Classrooms

At the beginning or end of each session (i.e. Summer 2019, 2019-20 School Year) a Transparent Classroom Admin at your school will need to assign children to the correct classroom for the coming session. In this brief tutorial video, we describe how to:

Balance Your Classroom By Age, Sex, or Language

To access the Classroom Placement page, go to: [Admin] > [Classroom Placement]

Select the session you want to update from the drop-down menu in the upper right corner of the screen. This allows you to view all the classrooms in your school either by age, sex, or dominant language. From here you can see how adding a child to a class will change the balance of a classroom. Moving a child is as simple as choosing a classroom from the drop-down menu or clicking [Copy] next to the child's existing classroom. The gender/age/language balance graph at the top will automatically update.
