Deleting Observations and Presentations

If you have recorded an observation or presentation by mistake, you may need to delete it after the fact. This article will show you how to: 

• Delete an Observation from the [Activity] Page
• Return a Square to Blank on the [Progress & Plan] Page Before You Click Save
• Return a Square to Blank on the [Progress & Plan] Page After You've Clicked Save

Deleting an Observation from the [Activity] Page

To permanently remove an observation or presentation that you have saved on the [Activity] page: 

• Click on the [...] to the right of the observation to open a dropdown menu
• Click [Delete]

Returning a Square to Blank on the [Progress & Plan] Page 

Before you've clicked [Save]:

If you have not yet clicked [Save], simply continue to click through the options until the box turns back to white. 

After you've clicked [Save]:

If you have already saved the record, you won’t have the option to make a box white again. Instead, you need to delete the observation that was generated when you saved. 

To do that: 

• Right-click the box ("long press" on iPad and other mobile devices) that intersects for the child and the lesson
• When the menu appears, select [...]

• Then, from the pop-up, click [...] to the right of the observation that needs to be deleted
• Click [Delete] 

You may have to wait a few seconds or refresh the page to see the box return to white again. If you have a lot of observations to delete, the fastest way is to use the Activity Page, or click on the lesson name to use the Lesson Page.
